Returns, Refunds and Exchanges Policy

Many thanks for shopping at Biggar Stitches. We really hope that you enjoy your purchase, however if you’re not entirely happy with the item then we’re here to help.

It’s OK to have changed your mind – we all do – so providing the item is returned to us within 14 calendar days from the date you ordered it, you can have a refund or exchange it for another item. The only exception to this is with cuts of fabric which cannot be returned or exchanged.  

Returns
For both refunds and exchanges the item must be returned to us in its original new and unused condition, and also in its original manufactured packaging. Postage and packaging costs for the initial purchase and its return to us are non-refundable. We cannot be responsible if the item does not reach us, so we strongly recommend that you use a signed-for service.

However, on the rare occasion that an item is faulty then we’ll cover the cost of the original postage, and will offer you a full refund or an exchange.

Exchanges
If you’re exchanging the returned item(s) for another, and the new item(s) is of a lesser value, then we’ll refund you the difference (minus the cost of the original postage). If the new item is of a greater value, then you’ll just need to pay the difference in price and we’ll contact you if this is the case.

Refunds
Once we’ve received the returned item, we’ll process a refund back to you however for security reasons we DO NOT hold your debit/credit card details therefore we’d need to call you and talk through a refund with you on the phone.  Unless the item is faulty, we will only refund you the price of the item(s) and not the postage.

How to return an item (for a refund or exchange)

  1. Email or call us within 14 days of you ordering the item
  2. Let us know if you’d like a refund or exchange
  3. Return the item in its original unused condition and in its original packaging back to us within 14 days of you ordering it. We strongly recommend that you use a signed-for service as we will not be responsible for item(s) that do not reach us.
